Thank you everyone!

I could not have asked for more. I want to thank everyone for showing their support and showing up to the scavenger hunt this weekend. If you missed it here are a few recaps:

• we had about 20 ppl show up during the course of the hunt!

Hey yall....first i want to thank everyone for coming out to vote on the weekend for the scavenger hunt!

Soooo we have a small problem...there is a 3 way tie on the vote lol....someone voted twice by accident (whoops!) So i have made a choice to hold it on the weekend of the 2-3rd. It will be on the 3rd of February (thats a sunday) at noon game time. Again to find out what game time is type in /info.

Also i want to remind you all that we are opening this up to others outside the flag. Invite your hearties! I am also thinking about posting this in the ypp forum to get more participation. I think this would be a positive step in helping our flag to grow simply by putting ourselves out there and hosting an event like this. Please post your ideas and thoughts about this here in comment form.

I look forward to hearing your thoughts and seeing you all there!

I know a lot of you are worried about the timing of the scavenger hunt and the poe is right. Here is the forum post about the poe is right. The times will not conflict if they are on the same weekend. I hope you all have a great week and I will be posting the time and date on thursday for the scavenger hunt!

More Details....

The scavenger hunt will consist of various questions and tasks that will require you to use your puzzle pirates knowledge. Thats pretty much all i can reveal atm....I cant give too much away or it will be an unfair advantage. This scavenger hunt has nothing to do with stats (being better at one puzzle than another), it is simply a game to see who can use the resources we use everyday...the best.

One other thing i need to clear up too.....on the poll...i just realized..the dates listed are saturdays...but the actual event will be held on the corresponding sunday. So PLEASE consider that when you are voting! Thanks again....defiantly post here if you have any more questions. I'll be happy to answer them! :D

Yarrr....Buried Treasure!

Ok ladies and gents....we are having a flag scavenger hunt for the month of January/February. I have posted a poll over to the right asking which weekend would be best to hold it. Those dates are all sundays (because my research has concluded that most people are online on sundays *clears throat*).

So please go and vote! The deadline to vote is Jan. 16th (the date is also on the poll itself in case you forget).

I would also like to encourage you to invite your hearties! Lets make this event a fun one with lots of participates! There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place! (see below)

There is no need to register in advance but please come prepared with at least one whisking potion to aid in the scavenger hunt! If you need to purchase one, several people in the crew own apothecaries and whisks are very inexpensive (100-200 poe for 9 whisks).

First prize: A Dhow!
Second prize: 5000 and second place medal!
Third prize: third place medal!

January Events!

Hey everyone! I hope you had a safe and happy holidays this year. There are some upcoming events i'd like to let you know about. First is the great race frenzy that is happening this weekend (jan 12-13) . There are a few people who are interested in doing this race. If you are one of them please check out the post in the forum by Artemis. This will give you all the details. If you are interested in either entering or supporting a flag mate just let myself, stud, sapphy, or ace know.

The second upcoming event is the Commando Pirates drinking pilly. We are still ironing out the details of this but there is more to come soon! Stay posted!

Aloha Fever Blockade

Good morning (too early!) I wanted to let you know about a blockade that we are supporting this weekend. It is the flag/crew of The Flying Dutchman. I am not sure who the jobbing contact is yet but I will amend this post once I know, so you can all check back later to see. The blockade is Sunday at 1pm game time (again type /info to see what game time is).

This will be sinking and also you will get to haul quite a bit as well. The idea of this blockade is to haul as much as you can. The crew/flag that hauls the most wins the island. They will be paying 300 poe per segment (a segment last 15 minutes) plus they may also be splitting the booty after you haul (that varies by crew).
